ANNOYING!

I seriously hate every time a politician is caught with his pants down the "loving, understanding and supportive" wife is paraded up there beside him to give his" I am sorry" speech.
Honestly , you know they don't want to stand there being humiliated but I am sure some p.r. person thought it best to have a unified look.
I tell you ,I would like for once the wife NOT be there! Let the world know that yeah he ****** up and no his wife does not support him , she is pissed! How about showing people they are no different than everyone else.He is so in the dog house , lets not make it look other wise!

Little Ham!

While waiting to dance Alex was sitting on the blanket with the other dancers and every time we would say her name she would pose! Seriously,the girl thought she was in a photo shoot! Mom and I got a good laugh!
Mom was able to get some awesome pictures though,it was hard to pick which ones to post.

Alex's First Dance!

I was so proud of my little girl today! I did not know if she would actually do it but to my surprise she did and loved it.
Her first dance was a tap dance .She seemed to be about 5 seconds behind her class in the moves but was doing it!
The second dance was a ballet dance to the teapot song.I know I am a proud Mama but she was AWESOME!I'm a bit of a softy too because when I saw her smile and hold her arms up and do that ballerina twirl I got tears in my eyes.It was just so cool to see her having so much fun and get to see what she has been doing every Wed.night!
We even put some very light makeup on and she thought she was something!
I'm so happy she is enjoying herself with this and I am very much looking forward to the next show.

Easter Festival

Today we went to the Easter Festival to see Alex and Mandy dance.
The kids enjoyed spending time with all their Grandparents.They rode a make shift choo choo train and everyone but Gage and Mandy loved it.
Mandy was first up to dance and she looked so very cute!
She was a bit stage fright but was by far the cutest little ballerina in her class!

The Girl Loves To Dance!!!!

Alex is absolutely loving her classes! She gets so excited on Wednesdays when its time to get ready for class.
I took these pictures while we were waiting for gymnastics to start.She was running around"dancing" and telling me to take her picture!
She is really getting good at her tumbles.She is just now learning to do cartwheels without the teachers help.That one will take some more time but she is really getting the hang of it.
She has come along way in gymnastics already.I does my heart good to see her get excited about something she loves to do.
I am looking forward to seeing her dance this Saturday.They said tonight they may let them do 2 dances instead of 1 !

Bad Timing!

We went ahead and went to Oklahoma Sunday morning because Gage seemed like he was feeling good.
We had a good 5 hours of tractor rides and fun and then it hit.Right before they got into bed Austin puked , then Alex , and of course Gage.Not once but several times.We went through all the sheets and blankets in Mimi's house plus all the clothes I had packed.My Mom had to start laundry at 10pm!
We finally get everyone asleep and things cleaned up and then it hit me.I threw up 7 times from 10pm-4am.I was up all night throwing up , chills and severe body aches.
Monday was a bit better for the kids except the diarrhea .I am talking running out of the pants into the shoes kind too! Sorry , I know that's gross!
I felt like death so Mom was great and took care of the kids for me.I really do not know what I would have done without her.
This morning I woke up feeling better but Mom started with the aches and chills!
When we arrived home there was Shawn on the couch sick! He himself had been up all night vomiting! Just when I thought I was going to catch a break!
I thought the kids were better but Austin has thrown up twice since being home so I have no clue.
So with any luck this dam virus will leave my family! Its just gross! Everything I have cleaned up for the past 4 days is disgusting! If Shawn cant make it to the bathroom though he is all on his own!

May-May is 2!!!

Man,its so hard to believe these kids are getting this old!
Today we went to Mandy's 2nd birthday party.I say May-May because when Gage was learning to talk and say her name that is what he always called her.Time has flown by,Gage can say Mandy now and she is 2! Where oh where does the time go???
It was a beautiful day for an outside party.The kids had a blast in the bounce house.There were lots of kids and they all enjoyed playing together.
She got lots of great stuff and seemed thrilled by all the attention and gifts.
Our family got her a purple princess bike and I cant wait for her and Gage to ride well enough for some family walks during the summer.
My heart was just sick though because due to a stomach bug Gage was not able to go to the party.
The final count of vomit was 9! He seems better tonight and was able to hold down a cereal bar so that is a big improvement. I know he would have had so much fun bouncing and running with the other kids.
We are leaving for Oklahoma in the morning for a few days.The kids are very excited to be going to see Mimi and do some tractor driving!
Now it is only 5 weeks before my last baby turns 2. Its an amazing thing watching them get older but sometimes it sure is sad too.
