Today started very early for us around here.We had to be at the soccer fields at 8:20 for the boys soccer pictures then it was onto our first game of the day at 9am.
After the game we went for a late breakfast with Gran and Papa.It was sooooo good!
We had a little time before we were due at the fields again for Alex's pictures so we went and visited with Grandma and Grandpa. It was a really nice visit and they really enjoyed seeing the kids.
Then it was onto Alex's pictures then her game. She scored a goal! Of course I was taking the boys to the concession stand at the time.Papa swears she plays better when I leave!
Unfortunately Alex did not get to dance with her class at the local towns Founders Day Festival because they danced at the exact time her pictures for soccer were. From what I hear it was a lot of fun.
We all went to Taryn's after the game but ALL my kids insisted on riding with Papa and Gran.It has been a few years since they hauled 3 kids home from a day at the soccer fields.Fun memories for them I am sure.
On the way to Taryn's they kept telling Papa that he was going the wrong way to Alvarado.Lots of back seat driving from what I heard.
Papa and Gran left for their class reunion after a visit with all of us.
Kyle was sick and Shawn was hunting so Taryn and I braved dinner at our local Mexican diner with the 5 kids by ourselves. It had its moments but all in all they did great.
They even earned candy for being well behaved in the video store after dinner.
We went back to Taryn's for more playtime after that.
When it was time to leave Kyler wanted his cousins to spend the night and the twins more than wanted to.When Mandy heard Austin say he wanted to spend the night she got that light bulb over the head look and happily announced that she wanted to come home with me.
So the big kids are with Taryn while Mandy and Gage are having their own sleepover here.
Busy day but it sure was a lot of fun. It's always great to be with family.
