Daddy Time...

Tonight after dinner Daddy taught the twins how to fly a kite!
They thought it was awesome!
After Daddy got the kites up he handed it over and they thought they were really cool.Alex flew hers for about 10 minutes then gave it up to run in the street! Austin flew his for about 30 minutes! He got such a kick out of it and told us several times that he was flying. It was so cute to watch.
Gage enjoyed watching them and chewing on the occasional piece of mulch he snuck when Mommy was not looking!
After we were done we went for our nightly walk.It was a nice evening.

LA-LA-LA-LA Elmo's World!

What a great day! Nana bought the twins tickets to see Sesame Street Live! Aunt Taryn and Kyler came too and the 6 of us all had a blast! Alex was groovin and Kyler was singing , Austin just sat and was in awe of the show.Poor Nana had to take him twice to go to the potty though!
They were spoiled while there for sure.First there was the $15 light toys , then their own box of popcorn with sprite and we finished it up with their own stick of cotton candy! It was a big day.
It was great for Aunt Taryn and I to spend some time alone with our big kids.
The three of them passed out on the way home and I followed shortly after we got home!
Thank you Nana for a wonderful time and fun memories!

Another Beautiful Day!

What a wonderful day!We met Aunt Erica and cousin Megan at the park. The little ones really enjoyed swinging while the big kids preferred the slides and play houses.Alex actually conquered the rope bridge! If you know Alex you know she shouldn't be attempting that! She fell through once and I offered to get her out but she wouldn't have it! She pulled herself back and defeated it! Victory however was bittersweet , while exiting she accidentally got kicked off the platform by a bigger girl!
After the park we went to sonic for smoothies! Then we were off to Gran and Papas for the afternoon. The kids entertained them for awhile and it was good for the kids to see Papa at home and out of the hospital.
We finished the day at CiCi's Pizza with their other cousins and Aunt Taryn and Uncle Kyle! It was a big day for them that's for sure!
We are ready for spring. We are going to try out parks in a 25 mile radius of the house!

Why We Love Texas!

What a beautiful day! Not many places are 75 degrees in the middle of Feb!
The kids and I decided to take advantage of it and started in the backyard. They had a blast on the swing set and really just being outside in general. The fun did not end there though! After that the twins rode their bikes around the neighborhood while I pushed Gage in his buggy. Its so nice to be able to go outside with my kids.Screw the housework, it can always wait!

Born to Ride!

Before the twins were even 6 weeks old PawPaw already had mini bikes bought for them.Little does he know that it will be YEARS before Mommy allows them to ride them!
Being born into our family though is a birth right to race something.
As soon as we got to Nana and PawPaw's the kids took to their cycles and raced through their little imaginations..
We better win the lottery because racing anything takes a small fortune!

Lesson's From Daddy

All the kids were sleeping but Austin so he got to learn a cool trick from Daddy.
Oreo's dipped in milk are awesome!
Austin took some convincing that he was allowed to dip his cookies but once he found out it was okay he dipped and stuffed oreo's in his mouth at lightning speed!
Nothing sweeter than special father son time , not even oreo's!

Mommy's New Workout Routine!

Nana bought Gage this push car for Valentines...
He rides in it while the twins ride their bikes in the neighborhood.
It's a little cold today so Gage and I decided to chase the twins around the house. We were reaching max speeds with some awesome sliding on the tile!
This was the best cardio and the kids had a blast being chased!Every time we caught them Gage would scream with excitement! Not a bad cold day activity!

Gage's First Haircut!

On Sunday I decided to attempt cutting his hair..I'm no good to say the least!
His hair was so fine that it kept falling out of the comb.Luckily Uncle Kyle was there and saved the day! It looks much better than what I did.
So no more curls for now and I will call Uncle Kyle when they come back.
