Easter Festivities at Church...

What a great day! We all went to the Easter celebration at Church this afternoon.
They had bounce houses and an Easter egg hunt room filled with balloons!
The big kids instantly threw their shoes off and ran to the bounce house.
We finally got them out with the promise of Easter egg hunting!
The hunt was really cool. They filled the room with balloons and the eggs were underneath them. The kids were all allotted 10 eggs then they took them to the nice ladies outside and counted the numbers hidden in the eggs. After they got their total they went to the prize station and got candy and toys. They each went about 2 times! Mandy and Gage decided to go get their own because the older kids did not like sharing!
After all the egg hunting was finished they all sat down and ate hot dogs that were provided by the church. It was a great day.
Thank you to Aunt Taryn for inviting us to tag along since Daddy was turkey hunting!

Helping Mommy!

Gage's newest passion..The dishwasher!
The kid loves that thing.I can not keep him out of it.
It getting to where I have to wait for him to be out of the room before I unload it.This kid is holding my dishes hostage!
A simple task like putting a cup in the washer is a major deal.It takes great timing to put a dish in these days!

Mommy Is Not As Young As She Used To Be !!!

Well this Saturday night Nana watched the three kids so Daddy and I could get out..The evening started great! We had dinner at Cattleman's , steak and lobster yum yum yum! We shared a bottle of wine and I was feeling pretty good when we left..I should have stopped there though!
We went to Clint's to pick him up because the three of us were going to catch a comedy show..We got there about 30 minutes before it started so we of course headed to the bar.I had a few crown and 7s then onto the show were I had a few more! I guess we were about 45min into the show when I realized the room was indeed spinning , very fast! So I excused myself and headed to the truck! I laid there for a few minutes then got really sick and threw up in the parking lot , several times! After about 30 minutes the boys came out and off we drove to the nearest car wash to spray off the running boards! We had planned to go home that night but driving 45min home was not a good idea in my condition so our wonderful friend Clint gave up a t shirt and his bed and they left me there with a trash can! What a night!
I woke up to get sick SEVERAL more times then we were off to bath and pick up the kids!
I started to feel better once we got to Moms though..I was glad because we had our Easter egg hunt.Nana will not be here that weekend so we did it early. The kids had a blast and loved finding their HUGE Easter basket presents the bunny had left for them.
Its good to be home now and I am looking forward to a good nights sleep .
If I ever drink again it will be too soon.I can not believe we used to do this every weekend before the kids came! Good God I am getting old because I am not ready to go out again for at least 6 months!

On His Own Two Feet!!

He is trying! Gage just started standing on his own for about 30 seconds..Every time I try to work with him though he plays the fall back and you catch me game! So this will be a long process for sure..He sure does get proud of himself when he stands on his own though.
He turns 1 in two weeks so maybe he will give us all a surprise and decide to walk that day!

My Little Anglers!

The twins had a special outing with Daddy this morning. He took them illegally fishing in the pond behind our neighborhood!
They had a great time but did not catch any fish.
Daddy said after a few minutes of sitting and not catching anything they got bored and decided to test out their rubber boots. They thought it was awesome when they stood in the water and their feet did not get wet.
About 1.5 hours later they decided it was time to come home.Of course Daddy decided to bring them home and fish by himself!
I don't think the police will be as easy on him without the help of two cute first time fishers!

Fun With Mom...

At the last minute I decided to pack the kids up and head to the park.It was too beautiful of a day to waste. They had a ton of fun and so did I.Alex runs all over the place! She is a handful to try to keep up with.Austin is always a little timid at first but about 5 minutes of being around the other kids he had a blast!
Afterwards I braved CiCis by myself.Lord that was work.I'm not sure if I even finished a piece of pizza.Right after I got them seated and got their food Austin declared he had to pee pee! So up we all go , grab Alex and pull Gage from his high chair while he was still eating. The bathroom took forever and I was of no help because I couldn't sit Gage down on the bathroom floor. So about 5minutes later we got out and I was so glad to see they did not take our food off the table.
So I tried to eat again but couldn't really because Alex was pushing Austin in Gages stroller ALL OVER the restaurant! Good God I was glad to get in the car!
I had a great time but I am thankful to be home!

Helmet Saves Another Goulding!

We were out for our nightly walk when Austin crashed.Austin and Alex were going down a hill and Alex stopped , of course Austin slammed into the back of her and fell off his bike. He busted his lip real good but his head was safe! Thank God he had it on because the side of his helmet was all scrapped up.That could have been his head! After the crying stopped the twins said Austin fell off his bike just like Papa! So funny how they think of things.
When Austin fell Daddy let go of Abby's leash to go to him , Abby took off.Luckily though Alex jumped off her bike and chased after the end of the leash! She caught her pretty fast.Way to be on your feet Alex!
After a little time and some kisses to his boo boo we finished our walk. Now all is well and the twins are drinking their yogurt smoothies.
Listen up people! Doesn't matter what you may be riding, wear a helmet!
