Christmas Party..

Wow what an event this was! We worked on this party from the beginning of school.
It was themed Kindergarten Candy Land ..We decorated the hall like the game with signs into each room that follows the theme..We rotated each class in every room. Each room was a different fun activity from making necklaces to making marshmallow lollipops,we even had a candy bar!It was a big hit with the kids and teachers.I am soooo glad its over and now I can rest a little bit!

Field Trip!

Kindergarten has their first field trip last week to the North Pole Express at Stockyard Station.About 8 of us Moms piled in my truck , in our jammies!!! The teachers were awesome and let us twin Moms have both our children together for the trip.We had so much fun riding the train , singing , and meeting Santa. When we got back to school a few of us checked our kids out and treated them to a special lunch at McDonalds. It was a super day with my kids!

Kindergarten Christmas Show...

Whew...That's a good word for this event..Earlier in the year all the room Moms decided we would put on a program for the parents..Man we didn't know what that meant! We held practices , made 94 t-shirts and stressed out for months! We were all so very nervous at show time. There were a few hiccups but it really went great and we could not have been prouder of those kids.It was a great experience and the feed back was overwhelming. The first grade teachers are already telling us we better bring the same enthusiasm to the table next year for them! Great times!

Gage's Program....

Gage was in his first Christmas program at school! I honestly did not think he would even get on stage.Imagine my surprise when he not only stood there but sang a little and even did a few movements too! I was super proud of my little man. After his show we went to have ice cream with Papa and Gran.
Thanks to Papa , Gran , Aunt Taryn , Uncle Kyle , Kyler and Mandy for coming and giving him your support.
Side note: notice the stain on his shirt?? He spilled all his cheese down his shirt at dinner! He was VERY upset and wanted to go home to change but there was not enough time!

Black Friday...

OMG!! There are seriously no words for the absolute craziness of this day.
We decided to go to Toys R Us with Gran at midnight to help her get all the grandkids presents..
As you can see in the photo we had a wait to just get in the store.Once inside it was chaos! Its like you stepped right in the door into the line to check out because there was so many people. You could not move down the aisles to even shop.It was horrible.I did however score2 Zhu Zhu pets! That was a miracle!
To kill sometime before the other stores opened we went and ate AGAIN at Dennys.
Kohls was next and then home by 6am..I will NEVER NEVER do that again.Once in my life was too many.I will gladly pay extra to avoid all that insane shopping ...

Thanksgiving 09

Wow , what a wonderful day we had with our family! This year my Aunt and Grandma even drove down for the day to have dinner with us.We were doubly blessed because Shawns Grandma was well enough to come and stay the afternoon as well.Shawn fried up 2 delicious turkeys and made all the traditional food to go with it..The food was plentiful and the whole family enjoyed being together.
After the gazillion dishes were washed the lades headed out for some shopping to pick up a few Christmas decorations..
Could not have asked for a more delightful Thanksgiving.

Family Night at A.E.N.

Right before Thanksgiving we attended math and science family night at the twins school. Each hall had different science or math activities and when you completed it you were given a bag of different objects.Once you collected all your objects your family went to the gym and built whatever they could imagine out of the crazy supplies given. It was really a lot of fun! The kids had a blast and it was fun seeing all the families on the gym floor building things together out of pretzels and gummy bears!

Halloween....

I LOVE Halloween! It is always such a blast each year..
Like always we had a bunch of friends and Grandparents gathered in the drive visiting and passing out candy. The kids ran around and played and went through their buckets and tried to eat every piece of candy they got that night!
Once again , a fabulous Halloween! Thanks to everyone for coming and making it special for the kids...

Gage's Turn....

On my birthday I got to put on a fall party for Gage's pre-k class. Those of you who know me know that it was the perfect way to spend my day! We had pizza , cake , made pumpkin people, played games , and read a story.Gage was more interested in helping me do things rather than participate but I enjoyed all his "help".After the party Gage and I headed over to AEN and helped to set up the carnival for the following day.I wrapped my birthday up at McDonald's watching the kids play.I couldn't ask for a better birthday!

A.E.N. Carnival!

Friday I had the great pleasure of working the schools carnival.I truly had a blast working with the other Moms and playing with the kids.I swear all I did after lunch was make snow cones! I got to take a break when Kindgergarten came through so that I could be there with my kids..Well only one of my kids...You will see there are not pictures of Miss.Mac , thats because she did NOT want me to walk with her! Austin however was very glad to spend the time with Mom.
It was a very tiring day but so worth it.I love this school and all the people in it!
