Fun At The Poo!

Today we went to visit Nana and PawPaw.It was nice because it has been awhile sense we have gotten any quality time with them.
It was such a beautiful day that the kids took advantage of it and had a blast playing in the beach area of the pool.Gage LOVED the water! He is going to be a little fish by summer for sure.He would throw the diving sticks in then go after them like a pro.
Austin and Alex really enjoyed their water gun fights with Nana and PawPaw.It was probably the highlight of their day.
Needless to say they did not want to go home.In fact after we got home and they ate dinner Austin announced that he needed me to drive him back to Nana's!
We are looking forward to summer and lots more fun times at Nana and PawPaw's pool.

Happy Birthday Kyler!

Today we went to cousin Kyler's 3rd birthday party at the park.It was a beautiful day.
The kids had a great time playing on the playground and the volley ball court,to them the court was a gigantic sandbox!
Aunt Taryn gave all the kids kites and that was a hit! Austin especially loved his..He tore it out and was running around with it before we knew it.He also pretended to be flying it in the car!
Alex made some friends with a couple of the little girls and loved following them around and chatting.
Kyler got lots of good presents.Gage loved the sandbox that Gran and Papa gave Kyler.No need for sand , he enjoyed just crawling in and out of it!
It is so hard to believe he is 3 already! That means my babies will be 3 in only 2 months!
It seems like yesterday Kyler was a newborn and I was as big as a house pg with the twins.That is really not exaggerated either! Seriously, at 2 weeks before delivery I could no longer fit into my XXL maternity clothes! Good thing the twins came at 36 weeks or I would have had to shop at the big and tall store!
The kids are exhausted.Thank God because I am enjoying some quiet time!!

Ready..Set...Run!!!!

We are ready!
It seems like once a week I am clearing Shawn's closet out and dragging in Alex's mattress!
The weather is looking bad.Strong storms and a high chance of TORNADOES! If you know me well you know I am getting anxious.I watch all 4 major weather reports and keep the radar loop on my desktop at all times during days like this.
I have taught the kids that when I say run they go directly to the closet.I have a pair of shoes for each in there just in case we have to walk on debris when it is all done!
I have said my prayers and now I am just waiting!

Who Needs A Park???

We had such a great time tonight in the back yard!
We swam in the pool , played in the sandbox,played on the swing set ,made bubbles,and colored on the patio with side walk chalk!!We were a busy little family!
We took a break for dinner but resumed play immediately afterwards.
As you can see Gage preferred the dogs water bowl over the nice big swimming pool!
The kids had a great time and Daddy and I truly enjoyed watching them.
We are back inside and done with baths.I hope the night wears them out and its early to bed! YEAH RIGHT!

Night At The Park..

After dinner we decided to go the park.Aunt Taryn,Uncle Kyle , Kyler and Mandy came too. We went to an elementary school playground! It was great because we were the only ones there plus it was less than a half a mile from the house!
The big kids had so much fun running around.It was nice because the whole playground was fenced in so we did not have to worry about them wondering around.Gage of course ate the rocks on the ground.I really think he prefers the mulch over the rocks tonight though!
Gage's favorite had to be the tunnel slide.It was a big one for older kids.Being our 3rd child we felt we could go ahead and put him down it! He LOVED it.You could hear him laughing in the tunnel when Daddy would lay him down to slide! You could really catch some speed on that slide!
The twins did not want to leave! When it was time to go of course they ran off! After threatening to leave them there Aunt Taryn cleverly asked for a hug and picked them both up!
It was the perfect after dinner activity.We will for sure be visiting the Elementary School playground again!

Baby Fresh House!

I was writing an email when I started to smell baby powder.I went to the living room and discovered all 3 kids playing in powder! It was EVERYWHERE!!!!
I consider myself an average house keeper but getting powder out of blue chenille is impossible!!! So the next time your at the house and the couch smells like a babies butt it is because I did what any good house wife would do...Turn over the cushions!!!
I do take blame in this fiasco though.I left the basket out for the kids to get..So I guess I paid the price for the mistake!

Dare Devil...

Gage loves his Spider Man quad that Gran and Papa gave him for his birthday!
He can really get around the house in it.
I try to get him to sit down but he refuses! He thinks that if he is going then he must stand up!
He looks like a little stunt man!

Gage's First Buzz Cut!

When your born a Goulding male you can be assured of 3 things,a love for the outdoors , a passion for hunting and a buzz cut!
We decided to go ahead and buzz it with a 7 this time instead of cutting it.It looks so cute! Just like a little man!
I hope the boys like buzz cuts because it's the only cut this Mom knows how to do!

Beautiful Day!!

It was so nice today.We appreciated it even more after yesterdays cold weather.
We went to Nana and PawPaw's today for lunch.We all had a really great time!
Lunch was wonderful as always , grilled steaks , baked pot., salad and homemade banana pudding!
After lunch we went and played with our rc cars.We all have one so it makes it really fun!
We even got the kids little rc cars of their own.
Alex was in awe over the air compressor! PawPaw showed her how to work it and she got to clean his cars off for him.
The kids had such a great time just running around the yard and playing.
Great food and a great visit! It was a really nice Sunday.

Play Date at the Park

What a beautiful day for the park! As you can see all the kids had a blast! We met Aunt Erica and Cousin Megan for a play date. The twins loved climbing and sliding and being able to be outside and enjoy the weather.Gage and Megan of course were fond of the swings but really got into climbing and sliding also.They had this cup like spinner there that was great! I would spin the twins around then laugh my butt off when they got out and tried to walk! Needless to say the swayed then hit the ground!
We ended the day at Gran and Papas.Papa was a bit sore from a procedure he had that afternoon but is doing much better.The kids played and Daddy came over with cheeseburgers!
They all crashed hard after the long, fun day we had.
Good bye beautiful day.Tomorrow I will be in the closet with a mattress on my head!

HA...HA...HA!!!!

Finally! I ordered a cover for the panel on the TV.Gage is always messing with the buttons.One time he actually changed the line convergence! It took me forever to fix it.With out fail I will be watching my soaps and bam snow on the TV..He thinks its a game and gets a kick out of it.Daddy and I don't find the humor however.
I got the cover in today and it works! He can not get it off and as you can see he sure tries.So Mom 1 Gage 0!!!

She Loves Her Band Aide!

Alex absolutely loves her band aide! Austin tries to touch it and she screams"DON'T TOUCH MY BOO BOO"! Its pretty funny!
She woke up this morning and was telling me ,Austin and Daddy all about her trip to the Dr.and showing us her bandage.
She is doing great.She had some pain this morning but was fixed quickly with Motrin.
I think she will be sad in a few days when the band aide goes in the trash!

Easter Emergency!

I was just finishing my post when I heard a crash behind me.I turned to see Alex laying on the floor ,holding her head and was about to let out a very loud scream!
I turned her over and freaked! She had split the side of her forehead !!!
She was running around with 3 balloons and tripped on the strings and went head first on the corner of the cedar chest.It was not pretty.It is about 1.5 inches long.Which may not sound big but when its your 2 year old it is.
I screamed for Shawn who came running.He applied pressure for the bleeding and once we got it to slow down we knew I had to take her to the E.R.
Shawn put a butterfly on it before we left to help.
The Dr. was such a nice man but Alex was terrified and cried the whole time.
The Dr. said it would leave less of a scar if we bonded it with a medical glue instead of stitches.I was glad because I had no clue how I was going to restrain her for that!He said that the butterfly was great thinking because it helped get the skin closer before he bonded it.Go Daddy!
I was impressed though because we were home 1.45 minutes after we originally left.Not to bad for an E.R. trip.
We are home and all is well now.The bandage will stay on for 3 days so she does not pick at the glue.
For those of you who know Alex well knows this is probably the first of many E.R. trips!!

Easter at Papa and Gran's

We had such a great day today! The kids loved hunting eggs with their cousin Megan.
They found all the eggs in record time!
The eggs were filled with chocolate which of course was a hit.
We all had a great dinner and just enjoyed each others company.
We are all so thankful that Dad is here with us this Easter.It was nice to be with him today because it serves as a reminder of just how lucky our family is and we cherish the holidays a bit more than we used to.

Gage's 1st Birthday Party!

What an awesome day! It has snowed all day long! I told Gage it was special just for him! The snow is still going strong.ITS APRIL!
Anyways..We had a great party! All of our family was there except our Nana and we sure missed her.
Gage dug into his cake like a champ! After a while he actually just bent down and took bites! It was really cute.And if you missed PawPaw putting his face in it then you missed out!
He got great gifts too! All the kids though loved what Aunt Taryn and Uncle Kyle brought...A swimming pool! We put it in the living room and it was a hit! All the kids played in that pool till they went home!
It was a wonderful afternoon! Thank you to everyone for coming and making it a special day!

Birthday Boy!!!

I can not believe it! My baby is a year old now! It has flown by for sure.
We went for his 12 month check up today. He is 24.4 lbs and 30 3/4 inches long.He got a total of 4 shots and did well with them. We got lucky because our insurance is one of the few that will pay for the combined shot so we did not have to get 5 just 4.
What a birthday present huh? Happy birthday now lets go poke you needles!
The rest of the day will be Tylenol induced because of his shots.Oh well he is having a party on Saturday to make up for the day!

VICTORY IS MINE!!!!

From the day Gage came home from the hospital he has been in LOVE with his swing.
Every time I have tried to put him down on a blanket he screams till he gets put in his swing.
I know I know , I should have broke him of this a long time ago BUT with 2 other children to take care I did not care where he napped as long as he napped!
He is over the weight limit of the swing and he will be 1 on Thursday so it was time!
Imagine my delight when he did not wake up when I laid him on his pallet this morning! GO MOM!!!!
